| GeoCaching and the Mouse Don't know if anyone else out there has ever geocached (or even know what it is for that matter), but I thought that I'd put it out there in case there are other geocachers attending MF. I would love to get a nearby earthcache, but unfortunately have no wheels to get there. Anyone??? And if anyone would like to learn about geocaching... please ask as I love to talk about it. Not as much as Disney, however it's right up there. Or go to geocaching.com to check it out. It's a great family sport that is worldwide. And there's a virtual in each of the parks. |

| That's really funny... the photos you have on your reply. The pumpkin is great, however the one with Spaceship Earth and the wand is perfect for a virtual geocache that is located very near that spot. One of the questions used to be how many points were on the wand. When it came down, the question had to be changed. Glad to tell you more should you want the quickie - version of what caching is. |

| Since you'll be staying at the ASMo too, I'd love to meet up with you to hear more about this GeoCaching thing. It sounds interesting.

| We started Geocaching this fall, it is a great thing for the whole family to do together. Our kids really like it too every time we go out to geocache it's a whole new adventure!

| I would love to know more.....I have tinkered with it a tad, mostly with a friend. The ones that especially interested me were the ones in the cemeteries. I could really really get into that. Well, when it gets warm here again in Michigan I could....LOL! |

| Thanks for the great idea for a particular time. I didn't want to "override" someone else's event theme/time, but since we're all going to be sitting around anyway. This being the first time, I am hesitant to schedule an actual event. One because my schedule is as full as everyone else's and two, what if no one showed up Did you know that there was an article written in 2005 about geocaching in the parks that is here within the pages of Passporter? Explains the basics should you have a moment to read it. However, being the perennial perpared person, I will come armed with maps & visuals for a brief GeoCaching 101. |

| Thanks for the input. I've been told (repeatedly) by the cachers here in the Willamette Valley that I can be an A+ type of person - one who steps on lots of toes, bruises tender egos and basically has a lack of social graces. Well, let's not go into particulars.... Heck, I see myself as a good solid B+ with the occasional tendency to turn into an A, but not an A+. I'll feel better seeing how MouseFest works, then perhaps...next year... |
