| The dates are being projected on fan sites and message boards based on last year. No dates for 2009 have been released yet and with the economic situation at hand, there's a good chance based on changes in the current season that future seasons may not follow the pattern of seasons past. ![]()

| Oh wow! You're so right. I had to go look. I guess that I'm so used to using unofficial Disney websites instead of going to the source. I'm so guilty of being OCD planner.

I didn't realize the MVMCP dates weren't official yet. Sorry about that! I knew the EMH hours I had posted weren't official either - just my best guestimate.

| so where are the dates coming from.....best guess? i was under some sort of impression that it was "insider" info from a cm who is in the know. so glad to find it isn't true and that rumors prevail even on here.... |

| They're still just guesses based on conjecture based on past years. No one, however, knows what will happen this year since there have been stories about people planning based on last year and being disappointed because Disney did change the schedule to make up for current economic hardships. I can only imagine how much attendance has decreased in the last few months.

| well, we were at AK and DHS today and both were packed to the gills. i am telling you, in the past few months, you would never know there was a recession by the looks of what is actually going on at disney. at least from my perspective...lines in the restaurants, lines at the checkouts in the shops...downtown disney packed even during the week. hmmmm....some things are not making any sense to me. anyway, we shall see come june. i just wonder where people are getting these dates, and they are actually posting them. it really makes me think there is an "insider" amongst us who DOES know. |

| i think the original poser said they came for the dis board. i know my TA asked and was told that reservations at the dsin resorts was not down. maybe people have already paid for these vacations or save for them. our visit in decemember will be shorter than normal for us to save. the question is--did you have a good time??

| Well you know, there are alot of websites that are 'guessing' the dates for MVMCP. I was kind of irritated at AllEars for not listing any info but now I know why. They wait until they have facts. In years past, you could guess when the parties were going to be held based on the previous year. Not this year considering the economy. Disney could even sell tickets to MVMCP and then cancel it. They did this with Pirate & Princess Party. I don't think they will because MVMCP is more well attended than the P&P party. In reality, they could cut the number of days that the party is held. So it's a waiting game at this point which I'm not very good. ![]()

| You have to keep in mind, they're running that three nights free deal with every four night trip that's booked. It's keeping attendance steady, but from what I heard, after the end of the promo, reservations are trailing off...

| Just an FYI the dates are out for MVMCP on AllEarsNet. They coincide with what has been posted here already.

| Just to clarify - the dates posted on All Ears are most likely based on previous seasons, possibly based on insider info (but I can't confirm that), have not been confirmed by WDW (I called today and could not get a rep. to confirm any dates), and are subject to change with attendance levels as some unfortunate vacationers have found out thus far this year. WDW still does not have a calendar, much less daily schedule, posted beyond June this year on Disney's site.
