| We need a name for Dec Gathering Mousefest '09 has been canceled. Many of us are still planning on traveling. We are working together to put together an official Passporter outing the same dates that MF was scheduled for. We CANNOT call it Mousefest or anything that sounds like Mousefest. We're opening it up to the floor to help us pick a name for our December Meet! Who has a good idea?

| Sorry! We were trying to be proactive and started talking before Dave's Post. We didn't want anyone to cancel their vacation plans! It seemed like a good idea to let others know that people were still planning on traveling! And spending time together!

| I've got to agree with Chrissi - we need to wait to give Jennifer and Dave time to get their thoughts in order and decide what "Official PassPorter" gatherings should take place, as well as what they will be named. Unofficially, people gather and meet at WDW all the time - but if you want to put the PassPorter name on it - you need to give credit to the authors and owners of that name. After all, that's why we cannot use the "Mousefest" name. It belongs to the original "Mousefest" organizer. So - let's be patient, and let people have time to digest the news and to think it over. There is a long time before December. Final plans don't need to be made just yet.

| I began getting urgent PMs that were flooding my inbox about renaming and "what do we do now?". I posted to stop the flood of PMs because Jenn and Dave haven't decided how they're going to go about renaming the event. Discussing it in chat is one thing, but posting it on the boards before we have a coherent idea about how our leaders want to proceed means there are hundreds of new posts for me to moderate.  And every time the word MF is used, I'm going to have to edit it in the coming days. Take pity on me!
