We are planning to go back to Hawaii next Feb (2003). We have friends on Maui, and we all want to go to another island, (probably Big Island) and rent a condo together. Anyone done this before? it will probably be 4 adults and two youngsters. Any information would be great!

I can only offer my thoughts on renting a condo in Hawaii but not on the Big Island as we always rent on Maui. We have rented four times and it is the only way to go. I have tons and tons of tourbooks on Hawaii so if you want, email me on what part of Hawaii you are thinking of staying and I'll see if they recommend any good condos (hopefully they all recommend at least one of the same one).

Can I go with you???? I don't take up much room. We are going in July 2003 and have had the condo reservations since last year. I can't wait!!

Debi, My husband and I rented a condo on our honeymoon but we were in Maui too. We had all the comforts of home and lots of elbow room. I don't know anything about the big island though. Sorry.
