Re: So, where are YOU going on your summer vacation?!?

New Orleans in June!
My husband and I are going to Cafe du Monde for beignets, Commanders Palace for a wonderful dinner, The French Market, Mothers, Mulates. We are going to try mulfatta, po boys, crawfish, and any other local dishes we can find. We are going to take a ghost tour, cemetary tour, plantation tour, Street car ride, and maybe even a Riverboat ride!
Or we may change our entire plan once we get there! Thanks everyone for your wonderful suggestions on this board, we are sooo looking forward to it!

Re: So, where are YOU going on your summer vacation?!?

Every year my pastor is in revival in Pelion, SC the last week in August. We usually end up staying for 9 - 10 days. It is nice to be able to relax. Although, I think we really just go down there to shop.

Re: So, where are YOU going on your summer vacation?!?

We will be going home to Oregon. Both DH and I are from there. Since his Dad died 2 summers ago, this will be a regular trip so he can check on his Mom. I usually get to see my parents something during the trip. They live a few hours away from his family...still in Oregon. I also get to see my SIL (m_green)and neice and nephew. Hopefully, we can make a side trip to Disneyland either on the way there or on the way back.

Re: So, where are YOU going on your summer vacation?!?

Well, we head to Williamsburg next weekend. Then in August, we're going to Madison, WI for Drum Corps International's World Championships. Then finally....in...129 days, 25 minutes and 20 seconds...we're going to Disney!!!!!

We are going to Europe in June, and then taking a cruise home. After that, we will keep our feet firmily in Indiana. DH just got a new boat (he saved for 10 years) and we will probably spend alot of time on it.
