Ft. Myers Area My DH and I will be staying a couple of days in Ft. Myers on our June trip, and was wondering if anyone can tell me some MUST do's or restaurants not to be missed. Any adventures that sound exciting? We would love to go snorkeling or swim with the dolphins!! Any ideas? Thanks for all your help! CoachMickey

Re: Ft. Myers Area If you like seafood, drive down to Ft. Myers Beach and go to a resturaunt called Snug Harbor. It is our favorite! Visit Thomas Edison's home. Very interesting and educational. Love the banyan tree there.

Re: Ft. Myers Area Dh and I loved the "Bubble Room" -- on Captiva Island. Very odd, but unique little dive. But if going for dinner... expect to make a ressie or wait. But we had no problem in getting a lunch table there. I highly recommend ordering one of their fantastic desserts. I had the most to-die-for white cake with coconut on it. It was also the largest piece of cake I have ever seen. Sanibel, Captiva, and Ft. Myers are all lovely. You will have a great time! Michelle
