Orlando taxes around...

Hello everyone!

My sister is the accountant for the trip and she ask me: What are the taxes when we bought tickets to USF and SW ?
Because yesterday I receive a call fromm CAA for price in Canadin and want to compare if it's a great deal or not
For the taxes at Disney I know for my hotel but not for the shop

Thanks to your help

Re: Orlando taxes around...

I'm pretty sure sales tax is 6%. Used to be on pretty much everything but food, but it's been a while since I lived there, so things might have changed.

6% sales tax on tickets, restaurants and merchandise.

There's a lodging tax on hotel stays of either 5% or 6% (for total tax of 11% or 12%), depending upon which county your hotel is located in.
