We love Williamsburg's Busch Gardens! Sister and I are taking the kids for a few days this summer.
We will hit Water Country USA also. She has never been to a water park and I am gonig to take her on a slide!

Re: Favorite NON-Disney Amusement Park!

Busch Gardens - Tampa is my pick. I love the combination of thrill rides and animals in one park (hmm....does this sound like another park we all know and love? - AKL).

I worked at BG - Tampa through high school so I am probably biased, but it will always hold a special place in my heart.

OK, I feel like a traitor for saying this, but Universal is our favorite park, period. And we haven't even tried IOA yet!

Re: Favorite NON-Disney Amusement Park!

I miss the Opryland USA park that used to be in Nashville. Growing up in Middle Tennessee, that was such a cool place to go. The roller coasters weren't anything to write home about, but it was a really laid back kind of park with some amazing music in the shows. Lots of kids came to Nashville to work at Opryland to try to catch the eye of a Music Row big wheel. They tore it down a couple of years back to put in (yet another) shopping center, named Opry Mills - but I'm with those people who call it Shop-ryland.

Now there's only Disnyworld for me, although since my husband has family in Cincinnati, they keep trying to get me to go to King's Island. It just wouldn't be the same.

For my wife and I -- Cedar Point -- absolutely love Millenium Force

My girls love Sea World -- I think they liked San Diego best, then Orlando. They liked the one in Ohio, but the dolphins never came close enough to touch and now it's a Six Flags
