Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! Hi! Since you are the Busch Gardens expert, could you please tell me if you know anything about the Williamsburg Marriott that is next to the park? Thanks!

Re: Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! Hey there! To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a full service Marriott next to Busch Gardens, but there is a Courtyard Marriott just a hop skip and a jump down the street from the park - it's a rather large property and looks pretty nice (typical Courtyard). There is a wonderful restaurant down the street too, near the Courtyard called The Whaling Company. Good seafood! I know a lot about Williamsburg, as my SIL went to The College of William and Mary and it's just close to home so we head there often!

Re: Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! Steve, you're slipping! There's a Williamsburg Marriott Conference Center at 50 Kingsmill Road less than 1/2 mile from Busch Gardens - I was just looking at hotels in the area yesterday because my son wants to go there next year.

Re: Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! Good grief! It must be actually in Kingsmill then, not directly on Rt 60 where BGW and the Courtyard are! Yikes! Well, since it's only about an hour there, we don't have to get a room - sad that I'm a better expert at the Disney resorts than ones almost in my own backyard!!

Re: Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! I still can't believe I didn't know about the Kingsmill Marriott, but the Courtyard is at best one more minute down the road and may be a less expensive alternative - just a heads up! Have fun planning!

Re: Hey! Dadtojbj! I Have a Question! DW went to a conference there several years ago and I wandered around the property a little while waiting for her. It appeared to be nice but only gets 3 diamonds from AAA for 3 $$$. You might be able to do as good or better for your money elsewhere. The Courtyard is also 3 diamonds and just $$.
