Re: Cape Cod in August

The Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster is beautiful. You will enjoy it. If you are beach people, do try out Nauset Beach in Orleans. It gets very crowded, so go early in the day. Do try the onion rings at the snack bar at Nauset, they are the best ever! Chatham is also a beautiful town near Brewster. If your dates fall over a weekend, go into Chatham on Friday night for the weekly "Chatham Band Concert". It is a blast if you like old, sort of nostalgic (showtunes, etc.) music. I spent all my summers on the Cape, so let me know if you need any other information.

Cape Cod in August

Nancy qualified for a 3 day stay on Cape Cod this August 7-9. So this cancels our Washington DC trip.

Thanks for all your help on the Washington idea. The Cape we know pretty well. We will be at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster paid for by the company we sell for.

Re: Cape Cod in August

We were just in Brewster for the weekend. Of course we were not in quite the beautiful spot that you will be in-- we were in a pop-up camper! One of our favorite campgrounds is right down the street from the resort. If you need any ideas, let me know as not only were we just there but my DH delivers to that area on Tuesdays and Thursdays so knows it quite well.

Re: Cape Cod in August

So, glad you are coming to the Cape! You said you know it well..Brewster is a beautiful town..I live on Cape..Centerville, in the Mid-Cape area. Work in a great restr. in Hyannis, called Barbyann's...Let me know when y'all are coming and I'll give you directions!
Maybe a Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard day trip?
Explore P-town or do a Whale Watch...Check out the JFK museum and where the Kennedy's live...those are some of my favorite Tourist things to do on the Cape...Whatever you choose, you'll love it here...I came for a visit 26yrs. ago and never left..Next to WDW it's one of my favorite places! Oh...the sand, the salt, the salt water taffy! Enjoy your stay on this side of the bridges!
