Hershey Highmeadow Campground

Has anyone stayed at the Hershey Highmeadow Campground in PA? I'm particularly interested in the cabins. How many do they sleep and the bed configuration? Ammenities? What's included etc.

Re: Hershey Highmeadow Campground

The cabins don't have bathrooms. There is a separate building which houses those facilities close by. When we found that out, we decided to stay at the Hershey Lodge which ended up being very nice. We'd stay there again.

Re: Hershey Highmeadow Campground

It's been a couple years since I stayed there, we were in tents - but beware of the noise! there's train tracks nearby, and I recall hearing the train going thru in the middle of the night, plus the garbage men decided that 4am was a wonderful time to come in with their noisy trucks and empty out the dumpsters. We got NO sleep. Other than that, the campground is beautiful, clean, and nice. Just bring earplugs or sominex!!
