Hey Nebraskans!

Ya'll are getting a new amusement park next year! No more having to trek all the way to World's of Fun or Adventureland for a short term fix! Check it out!

Sounds better than the Peony Park I grew up with out there (which I LOVED!) !

Re: Hey Nebraskans!

Looks like a great place for a park. Can't help wondering what a coaster high view of Omaha will be like?

Re: Hey Nebraskans!

It probably means it will be a VERY tall ride!

Re: Hey Nebraskans!

Haven't been to Omaha since I was a kid. It is neat to think of a ride high enough to see the city lights!

Re: Hey Nebraskans!

This is exciting! How is it that I live here and you scooped me on this information?!?! This will be a good location. The riverfront is really developing with a new Convention Center being built and the wonderful Henry Doorly Zoo and Rosenblatt Stadium being in close proximity. Steve, would you believe Peony Park is now the site of a large grocery store?

<font size="2" face="Comic Sans MS, Arial">OMG! You are kidding me?!? That was such a nice little park and we used to go just for the beach! I can't believe it, but I guess it couldn't compete with World's of Fun. That is really a shame.
