Re: Royal Pacific..Check it Out!

I am so glad to see those pics up! I'm telling you, the Universal Resorts are STIFF competition for our beloved Disney. I've only stayed at the Hard Rock and it is BY FAR one of the best resorts I've stayed at in my life. The RP looks magnificent!

Tinkerbelly, I saw those photos the other night and I'm very impressed. Really looking forward to staying there. I hope the pool area is that empty for you and us!

Re: Royal Pacific..Check it Out!

Tinkerbelly,

I had not seen the pics yet so thanks for the update. When are you going? We're only staying 2 nights at the Royal Pacific before moving on to AKL and we are equally excited (My son and I began a countdown at 150 days out and are down to 57 as of today).

Re: Royal Pacific..Check it Out!

I am anxious to hear how it is! We are staying at Portofino for two days in 2 1/2 weeks but I want to go look at Royal Pacific for next time I love my Disney hotels too, but I really think Universal is giving them a run for their money now. It is probably better that Disney finally has some competition. It will keep them on their toes!

Re: Royal Pacific..Check it Out!

We are staying at the RP for 3 days after our cruise in Aug. . We have stayed at the HRH twice, and except for a check-in nightmare the second time really enjoyed it. We LOVED being able to just walk to the parks - no car/ no bus needed! So I hope we like the new hotel too, DS is joining us for the first time (staying on usf property that is ) so want it to be nice for him too! USF is certainly giving Disney something to think about, but we did find that nice as it was ,it still wasn't as magical as Disney!
