Confused about something Does AAA only get a certain number of rooms to discount at each resort? The TA I called said WL was not available the days I wanted, but it shows available on the DW website. Does she know what she is doing or not? She did have trouble finding WL when I first asked. She said, you mean the cabins? The Villas? Oh, here it is. She said she's been doing this for 20 yrs..... You guys have me convinced to try the WL, so if we can't get it through AAA with the discount, I guess I'll call a Disney TA. Thanks, Belinda

Re: Confused about something Discounts, AAA and otherwise are limited to specific number of rooms. I've seen instances where one may not be able to book a room at a discount but that room/resort is available at regular rates via online or booking through Disney. The confusion with the person you were speaking with is a little odd though- she seemed very confused and you might call back, speak to someone else just to be sure. If you do go through another TA, make sure they will continue to monitor for any other kinds of discounts as well that you might qualify for. Good luck!

Re: Confused about something I also wanted to verify that the AAA discounts are not always offered on all dates on all room types. They are limited to a certain number of rooms. You do not need to use a travel agent to get the AAA discount if you don't want to. You can call Disney directly, and they will allow you to book room only with the AAA. The packages do need to use a AAA travel agent, as far as I know. Good luck making your reservations.

Re: Confused about something Well, I guess she was having trouble finding it because it didn't come up due to unavailability. So, we just decided to stay at the Poly with the package and discount, so we can get dining. It was about the same price as non-discounted WL. We'll have to try a new resort next time
