| Is this too much to ask of a TA...? In the past I have went to my TA with my dates, exact hotel, and even told her the cheapest airfare I was able to find. But now that I have learned not to pay rack rates, I want to do something different. I want to go 2 nights on property at Unniversal and 6-7 nights at POP or other value at Disney. Sometime late Jan or early Feb. Is it too much to ask them what the best deal is since I am so flexible. I dont care if Disney or Unniversal is first and I dont care what dates as long as it is between 1-15 and 2-15. I dont know if a code will come out and if I do book a package now, will I be able to have them switch me to the code later? I dont want to expect too much..... |

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think it is too much to ask a TA to look for the best at certain times. Flexibility is sometimes helpful. I look at it as a challenge (in a good way). The more money I can save my client the better, and the more flexible my client is the better I can do. If a code does come out at a later date, you can have your TA check to see if the new code lowers your total cost and if it does, rebook your vacation (there might be some times that you may not be able to, but it never hurts to check). Talk to your TA and see what they are willing to do. Most will be willing to go more than the extra mile for you. The better they know you, the better they can do. And the better you know them, the better you can feel about letting them work for you. Bil |
