Trying to plan a honeymoon (combo trip)

I am getting married on Oct.20th 2007. We want to do a combo honeymoon that includes a 4day stay at the disney parks @ a disney hotel and a cruise (not the disney one). We both agree that the disney ship isn't for us after a week in the parks. I have been looking for another cruise ship that "ports" near disney due to the fact we will not have a car w/ us. If anyone can help that would be awesome. Please contact me back asap like to book this soon!

Re: Trying to plan a honeymoon (combo trip)

Hi,

Your closest ports would be Port Canaveral and the Port of Tampa. Both would need town car or bus service to get to.

You need to plan cruises around their sail dates, so that too will limit your options.

Since you emailed a bunch of us as well, I am sure those replies will have options a little more personalized.

Re: Trying to plan a honeymoon (combo trip)

Both Carnival and Royal Caribbean sail out of Port Canaveral. Remember, the Disney Cruise Line is subtly Disney. You can avoid interaction with the characters if you want, and most of the kids at that time of the year will be in the kid's clubs. Besides which, the ships have plenty of adults only areas.
