| Airfare in September In past years does airfare seem to drop in September. What is your best guess when the deals come out? Looking for a flight for 16 people. We would be flying out of STL. Thanks for you help!

| One of my new favorite sites is Airline tickets, Discount Airfare, Helping you find Cheap Flights At FareCompare. Simply key in your departure and arrival information, click go and you will quickly see historical rate information for that flight segment. Yes, the prices were lower during August - October. (You have to scroll down to see the graph) But it gets even better. Click on the price listed under the month you want to travel, then click on the travel week and you will see the current, most up-to-date pricing for several airlines. If you see a good price, jump on it quickly as they update their information hourly. Good luck and happy fare hunting!
