I sure hope that one of the TA's on this site can help me as I am about ready to break down and cry . My DD is an amzingly talented singer and was accepted to bothe the opera and the musical theatre summer sesssions at Oklahoma City University- an almost impossible feat. I thought THAT would be the hard part, but it is getting her there that seems to be impossible. I tried to book her through Hot Wire but she is under 18, so they won't permit me to book her. Then we get to the cash problem- her dad does not support her in any way, and I broke my spine last year so things are "tight". If I could combine the fare on two credit cards I'm fine, but it seems I can't do that?
Delta had a "Special" running for $89 that was up for several days but I was wating to see if another girl was able to travel with her, and sure enough, when I went on 2 hours later, we were over $400! I truly had no idea that could happen as I am so used to doing everything through travel agents.......
Do you think that the fares might come down from those ridiculous prices? She would have to be there on 6/24 in the afternoon (leaving either from ROC or BUF) and return on 7/28. I looked for me to go out on 7/25 and return with her on the same date and my fare ws only $266. Can someone PLEASE help me sort this out, I am so confused .
