Flight Changes by airline

When I booked my vacation I purchased non-refundable tickets for a 3:45 PM return flight out of Orlando. Yesterday I went onto the Delta site and noticed that there was no flight at that time but they had me booked on one at 6PM. How does this happen and does this mean that I can be bumped off from that flight?

Sadly, this is not uncommon with any airline, but Delta has been notorious for schedule changes recently.

Schedule changes happen when the airline needs to make changes to their schedule or if the FAA feels there are too many planes coming into an airport at one time, of any airline.

If your schedule change does not coincide with your travel plans well, call Delta ASAP and let them know. It was their change on your plans and they should be able to work with you if they have the means to do it.

Good luck!

Jennifer
