| Non-Disney passport question Hi, I hope someone can answer this question as I couldn't find anything on the passport website. My recently married (less that 2 months) friend is traveling to the Bahamas in July. She has a valid passport in her maiden name and a driver's license in her married name. Her SS card is still in her maiden name. She doesn't want to take the chance of sending her passport off and not getting it back in time. Could she book her plane tickets in her maiden name and be OK getting out of and back into the US(would she need to show her drivers license?) Does she need to take a copy of her marriage license with her? From what I remember, I took my marriage license to prove the name change but that was 10 years ago before Homeland Security. Thanks for your help.

| Her passport is enough ID - she won't need to show her driver's license. She should definitely bring her marriage license in order to resolve any issues that might arise. Whether it's better to make her airline reservations in her maiden name... sorry, I don't have the answer on that one.

| If the passport is in her maiden name, use her maiden name. She'll need her marriage license when she changes her passport, but I wouldn't do that for several more months. I have to do this all the time for newly weds.
