How does Disney CRO tell....

when you have your ressie with a TA? If Disney doesn't keep track of ressie's with agencies throughout the world, and what they have booked, doesn't that open the potential for hotels to be double, triple, or quadruple booked?

Just wondering since I've never done this before

Hey there.

Actually, Disney does keep track of their reservations with travel agencies - if you mean do they know if you have a travel agent assigned to the reservation or not.

When a travel agency makes a reservation or takes over a reservation, Disney assigns that reservation directly to the agency - thus it has the agency IATA and agent's name listed in connection with that reservation.

If a reservation is transferred that is exactly what happens; that one reservation is transferred and there are no other 'copies'. Now, that is not to say that Disney cannot have two reservations stored under the same client name at the same time. I have seen peolpe have two reservations at two different resorts for the same time period. Disney can not track that very well. But it doesn't make a difference whether that happened through a TA or through a guest.

Does that answer your question?
