Question annual pass

I am so confused. I am hoping you professionals can help. I call disney tonight to inquire about an annual pass (not premium). The cast member I talked to said that there are black out dates. I was not inquiring about a Florida resident pass (I live in Illinois). Are there black out dates for a regular annual pass?

No. Was he/she perhaps talking about room discounts? Not really blackout dates, but they announce certain dates and rates a few months in advance.

Yes, the Florida resident pass has blackout dates.

Call back if you get a confusing answer. In fact, call back twice. I frequently make three calls if the first answer seems odd, and I'm supposed to know what I'm doing (or at least that's what the certificate says).
