Changing flights?

We (4 of us) leave for Orlando in 7 days! We are flying air tran from MCI to MCO. Our return flight originally had us changing plans in Atlanta with just over an hour to do so. AirTran changed the flight times slightly weeks ago and I accepted the changes. Now I am a little nervous as we have less than an hour to change planes in Atlanta. I would like to inquire about changing flights without much cost. I am wondering if I should call AirTran, wait until we are at the counter at MCI or wait until the day before we return? Any suggestions on which way is my best bet?
Thanks for any suggestions!

I would suggest calling them now to see what they can do. If you don't like the answer, you can always pursue your other options. Have a wonderful time!!!

I hate changing flights at major airports with less than an hour layover, and more like 75 minutes. But Hartsfield gets 90 minutes in my book, although I think that all of the AirTran gates are located next to each other.

I was talking to a CM at DRC about a client who had connecting flights. It was within an hour between the two flights. Disney told me that they can book flights within 35 min. of each other and they have enough time to get your luggage from one plane to the next.

Hope this eases your mind!
