| Air Fares? Hi TA's!! I am planing on going to Ft. Laud & Orlando in August 09. I was just checking out fares & American has a great deal on now. I do a multi city/SEA/Fll/MCO/SEA My quandry: I collect points with Star Alliance (Air Canada/United/US Air) Do you think I should go for the American seat sale or do you think United will have one later on & I can wait?? How reliable is American? I haven't flown them in years. Thanks

| I won't bet on prices going down. If you have a reasonably good price, I'd go for it. American is "reasonably reliable", but nobody is getting good marks. My recommendation is to get a very early flight out and try to make as few stops or changes as you can. The fewer airports you go to, the less likely you are of having a flight canceled or delayed or you missing one because of a delay or cancellation.
