| Ethics Question We decided to change our 4 night cruise to a 7 night cruise. I emailed my travel agent the information on Friday at 6:30 am, I still have not heard a word from her. Since then I have found a rate $100.00 cheaper than hers. Do I stay faithful with my travel agent and wait for her to contact me, or do I book the cheaper fare? I do not want to act to rash, and I am not a person that complains at all, but I would like to get my trip booked. What should I do?

| Have you tried calling her? E-mails do wind up lost in cyberspace sometimes. I would give her a call or send another e-mail and let her know about the rate you found. I'm sure she will be able to help you out!

| I would at least try giving the TA a call first. Like Sara posted, emails get lost and end up as spam sometimes.

| I agree with Sara. We have gotten too hung up in the online, electronic world. I frequently have other agents in the agency I work with ask me questions about how to do complex bookings online. Call is almost always my answer. If it's 2 am, you're not going to be out a whole bunch of time waiting until morning. And you should be asleep, anyway. Umh, what am I doing answering those emails?
