Passport Question

We received our cruise docs today and I'm not sure if I've messed up big time. My passport was issued under my maiden name (I recently changed everything else to my married name, silly me for not planning on a cruise! ). I booked our cruise under my maiden name. When I called DCL to book, the CM told me to book the cruise under whatever name was on my passport. As we get closer to sailing, I'm getting nervous! Will I be okay to travel on my passport as long as the name matches my reservation?? I'm having visions of sitting in a Dept. of Homeland Security cell for 72 hours...

Any help is greatly appreciated (moreso by my husband who would love for me to quit freaking out)!

Each name on the reservation must match whatever identification you use. If the reservation is under your maiden name and your passport lists your maiden name, then all is well. (Plane tickets as well must match your identification).

They are looking to see that passenger "Jane Doe" has identification proving she is "Jane Doe". The DCL CM was correct in having you book the cruise under the name that matches your passport.

I would get the passport changed as soon as you get back! Have a wonderful time!

Thank you! We're FL residents or I would've been in a bigger pickle with my DL and Passport not matching. I will sleep much better tonight!
