On-line Check-in

My TA recommended against it, especially since I will want to explore the possibility of changing room assignments if the original assignment is not to my liking. She did remind me that changing rooms is dependent on limited availability.

Is there a consensus for whether the on-line check-in benefits guests.

I am convinced it cuts down the work load for CM's.

My clients have been reporting that the line for the on-line check in has been longer than the CM lines. That being said, I'd also say if you're looking to change room assignments, or have any other special location requests to use a CM to check-in.

If you have particular room requests, make sure they are noted on your resevation at least a week prior to check in! My clients have also reported long lines at the online check in desk. But the best luck I have had with getting room requests approved is when they are noted on the resort prior to arrival.

Thank You.

We have request noted, but I will call about a week in advance to make sure they are logged-in to our reservation.

Would the preferences show up on the travel docs we receive from our TA???

It depends. I always note special requests on my confirmations for clients but the official paperwork from Disney would not show it.

We also have been getting feedback that there really doesn't seem to be any benefit to the online check in at this time. I think they really still need to work all the kinks out and I am not advising anyone to use it.
