Reservation number question

Why is it that when you book thru a TA even though the reservation sheet says "Walt Disney Travel Comany" or whatever, you can't use that reservation number and talk to disney about your reservation? For example. I have a reservation number. All the details to my trip are on this sheet. My aunt just decided to tag along at the same hotel. She asked her AAA guy to request to be put close to me. They said they didn't have me in the system. Why ? I know its because I went through a TA but when WILL it show up???

There is no reason AAA can't add the request for your Aunt to be near you. Or on the flip side - you can have your TA add a "traveling with" to your reservation. I have never had a problem linking my clients reservations with their friends who booked using other methods.
