Using a Travel Agent [to get deals on airfare?]

I've booked our last two trips on my own, but am considering using a travel agent for this trip. Can a TA get me a better deal on airfare? I know they can't get me a bigger discount on the room, but wasn't sure about airfare.

Thanks,

April

Typically, no. There are many reasons to use a Travel Agent but savings on airfare is not usually one of them.
