Is it possible to come out cheaper?

I am wondering if it's possible to get a quote in July for a May trip the following year and then have the trip be $ 250.00 cheaper than the quote and what could make that happen? Thanks for your ideas.

Yes, it is possible. It sounds like you were quoted the price before the rates were established. Disney allows room bookings 500 days in advance but traditional has not set it's rates until July/August. The rates could have come out lower.

The other option (as I am not 100% following the exact timeline of when the $250 came into play), is you booked far in advance so paid rack rate. May now has a discount offer and that was applied.

Hope that helps
Sandy

Promotional Pricing

That is exactly right! They are under promotional pricing and you should always be able to get that (hopefully) even when you book ahead. That is great you came out ahead!
