Premium Annual Pass Benefits

We are going in Jan-2001. I am thinking about purchasing Annual Passes at the Disney Store. What kind of discounts can I get at resorts? Do you think it is worthwhile? THere will be 3 adults and 1 8yr old in the group. mcneal

Re: Premium Annual Pass Benefits

McNeal: I am asked this alot. The difference between premium annual 460.07 and regular annual 343.44 without MKC discount. The difference 116.33 is for use of waterparks, Pleasure Island and Wide World of sports. If you think you will use that amount in your trips within a year then the Premium annual is for you. My husband and I don't do waterparks, so when we go we have the regular pass and pay around 20.00 each to go to Pleasure Island. If you plan to do a lot of water parks everytime you go then get the Premium but don't pay for more than what you'll really use. January can be cold and January can be warm, you just never know.
You have a very good chance of getting an AP rate in January by the way.

Re: Premium Annual Pass Benefits

Hi Mcneal!

For questions about the AP & PAP, I found dwills site to have good info:
http://wdwig.com/apass.htm

My friend & I purchased our first AP this year in knowing that we would be returning to WDW a couple more times. (We don't do the waterparks or Pleasure Island on a regular basis so the AP is good for us)

I have known others that have used the AP to obtain reduced resort rates and were happy with the results!

Re: Premium Annual Pass Benefits

thanks guys! Our 21 yr old daughter lives in Orlando. So I figure we can work a couple of visits a year going to see her. I am dying to find AP deals but when I called I was told the 2001 prices would not be available until July. I guess I will just have to be patient. mcneal
