| AP room discounts for DXL Jean, Another couple of questions for you... Now that we have our AP's we know there are some room discounts available out there. Our trip is 1/31 - 2/04/01 at Dixie Landings. I was told to try calling in October to inquire about the possibility of a discount on the room. First, what would you say my odds are of getting one -- do I just call CRO -- and if told "no, there aren't any dicounts available" -- is it worth it to continue to call & call again. This is my 1st year with AP's (as we have always done UMP's with Resort Magic Plan). Thanks, so much for your help! | Re: AP room discounts for DXL All ears: I think you have an excellant chance of getting an AP rate for your dates. I have files lined up on my desk like planes sitting on the runway waiting to apply discounts. Yes, you may have to call and call. My record is 11 times in two hours to get a discount. You must be diligent with your calling if you want to score. To answer your other question. | Re: AP room discounts for DXL I am considering a short trip in Jan. (3 or 4 nights). Would it be worth it to get an AP for the possible discounts or should I upgrade my paper MKC to the new plan. This is for a get-away with my DH, I would like to stay @ Poly. if I can get a discount. | Re: AP room discounts for DXL Momria: Based on this years value season, MKC discount on the Poly saves you 55.80 per night plus tax. AP discount on the Poly saves you 90.00 night plus tax. Both of those discounts more than makes up for the cost of an MKC card or AP, agree??
