| Room discounts I was able to obtain reservations for the Contemporary 3/23 - 3/28/02 with a AAA discount ($300/night w/tax). I don't yet have a AAA membership and would like to avoid having to join if possible. Can I hope to get a similar rate with a DisneyClub membership once those rates are released? I recently joined DC and was hoping to benefit by getting a room discount, but from what I've been reading, since that's the week before Easter, I could be out of luck. |

| Re: Room discounts Pumba: Disney Club rates would be comparable, but keep in mind if you book through DC and a code rate comes out then you have to cancel DC and rebook through CRO, same with AP rates. There were discounts this year for your dates and 2002 isn't looking any better for Disney so I believe there will be huge discounts again, the main trouble with your dates is that is Easter week and this year Easter week did not have the heavy discounts. | Re: Room discounts Thanks for the prompt reply Jean. Now for a followup question...would we have better luck getting a discounted room if we checked in prior to the beginning of Easter week--say 3/21 or 3/22?? I've read that sometimes if your hotel stay begins at a lower rate, you lock that rate in despite any rate increases. |

| Re: Room discounts It may or may not be any better a day or two before that. Peak season goes from around 2/15-4/15/02, and this year they cut off the specials prior to Easter week. |
