Re: Questions about trip planned for November

Hi Joe: When you contacted us at Magical Journeys in February we let you know that only the AAA or Disney Club discounts were available for your dates. That is still the case. We would be happy to keep am eye out for any new deals that may be released for your time frame and keep you informed, however All Star Movies are usually not included because of their popularity and they fill up even at full rack rate. Thank heaven you were able to get the AAA rate, as that may be your best deal at 20% off. I assume by the total price of 630.00, that you have a preferred room at Movies?

8 days is usually the break even point between a hopper pass and AP. I would advise the AP as you might possibly go back within a year and then you would not have to buy another pass.
We found transportation to be fine, but we were at a deluxe resort. All Stars because of their size does have somewhat slower bus service, but still not bad.
With 8 days, I would bid on Priceline for a full size at 17.00 per day and with taxes and all, you should be able to get for 185.00 for the entire time. That is what did just this past trip.
For golfing, driving your car or taking a cab, would be your best options.

Questions about trip planned for November

Jean,

Hoping you can help me save a few dollars on my planned trip to WDW for November. This is a replacement trip
for one cancelled last year in the wake of 9/11.

Hotel: I have ressies at All Star Movies, arriving 11/9, staying through111/17 for eight nights. I got the AAA rate
and am paying as of now a total of $630 including all taxes. Any better rates out there?

Park pass: What's my best deal for passes? AP, PAP, or length of stay pass from the hotel? And any ways of getting
discounts on these that are worth getting?

Transportation: What's the current status of Disney transportation? After some bad experiences, I rented a car last trip, but would
consider not doing so if the Disney transport is working well. If I do need to rent a car, where can you
suggest for a discount? I'm inclined to rent a car, so that I can get groceries, etc. Also, is it possible to go to the
Disney golf courses to play a round without a car? There aren't any bus routes to the golf courses as far as I know.

Hoping to get your thoughts on these questions. Feel free to email me at josephj_hurley@msn.com.

Thanks in advance for your input.
