| Early booking, how early ? Dear Jean, We just got back from our 1st Disney cruise . Since we enjoyed it so much, we were thinking of taking our daughter Aug.2003 for her graduation present from HS. But there are a lot of variables that we need to work out before then (time off work, my graduate school schedule, budget, so forth) that might cause us to change our date or cancel. Is it still worth it to book this far ahead, do you really save that much more than if you wait a few months? We are pretty sure we would want to sail 1st week in Aug. Thanks for any advice you can give! |

| Re: Early booking, how early ? There used to be seasonal specials, but now they discount the cruise upfront and then early booking savings is the only way to get cruise for less. It is definately not too early and in fact I encourage it. As the ship fills, the early booking savings decreases. Disney is not like other cruiselines, that the closer the cruise date gets the cruiselines drop the rates. The exact opposite is true with Disney. The closer it gets the higher the price. |
