AAA discounts?

Is this worth it? My mom used to belong and we are looking at going in May or June. Most likely May. I've looked at past posts on AAA and it looks like opinions are pretty split.

Re: AAA discounts?

I always suggest to my clients that they look into getting AAA if no other discount is available during their dates. Just in case nothing becomes available, at least they have that discount.

Re: AAA discounts?

I don't have an AP and since DC is going away, I won't have anything to use for a discount. I looked on the AAA website and the dates we'd be looking at going didn't qualify for any discounts. Do they add more or have specials throughout the year?

Re: AAA discounts?

We Just booked our vacation thru AAA and got $250 off the price from the Disney website. We are a family of 4 going for 5 night. POR and Dream Makers package. plus AAA throws in some bonuses. I felt that it was a good deal at the time, you still have til 45 days before to pay in full. I would book it and if a better deal comes along change your plans.

PM if you have any other questions.

Pam

Re: AAA discounts?

You don't have to book the AAA discounts through AAA. Any travel agency can help you. AAA discounts are available for all of 2004 unless they are sold out for a particular date

If I want to book just a room with the AAA discount, do I still need to go through a travel agent, or can I call Disney directly?

Re: AAA discounts?

For a room-only AAA discount, you can call Disney directly and ask for the AAA rate for the room. -HiddenMickey

Re: AAA discounts?

We're going in May as well and the VISA discount for the package was cheaper than getting a AAA rate for us--the CRO is unable to give you AAA rates for a package but they can do a room only for you.
