Ticket planning and MYW...updgrades from PHP???

I have 1 adult/2 child 7 day PHP with 2 days and all the pluses left and an adult 5 day PH (no plus) with 2 days left. I'm seriously thinking of "upgrading" these to the 10 day MYW, park hopping, no exp, NO pluses. Can it be done and does anyone know how much they will credit me for the old tickets??

I'm desperately trying to plan ticket $$$ for February and need some answers!

They will credit you 2/7ths of the 7 day pass price that you paid and 2/5th's of the 5 day. The plus options have no trade in value at all.

thanks, Nanc,
Is it the price that was *paid* or are they using a standard price like I've seen some sites say?

Re: Ticket planning and MYW...updgrades from PHP???

I have not seen any standard pricing listed on any official pages.

When I have traded in passes in the past, it was always the price I had paid for them. For me, since mine were OLD passes, it was worth more as a day in the park than trading up.Then I also had the plus options (which to me were worth $30 each!)

Re: Ticket planning and MYW...updgrades from PHP???

Mousesavers says "If you want to upgrade Park Hopper tickets you've already purchased to the new Magic Your Way tickets, that will be allowed. The information I've seen states that the retail value of your Park Hopper tickets will be applied to the new tickets, even if you purchased them at a discount (i.e. through AAA). Presumably a partially-used Park Hopper will be good for a pro-rated credit, but that hasn't been stated by Disney. You'll need to go to Guest Services on arrival in order to perform the upgrade."

That's why I'm !

Is the sentence that applies to you. As far as pro-rating, the word I am getting is they will take your total that you paid for the passes. Divide by the number of days and pay you what remains. I cannot comment on anything other than what I am told. You can call and verify to be sure.
