What days to go to which Disneyworld parks?

We are going to be in Disneyworld July 1-8th. Which days are best for visiting each park? I have the 2005 passporter, and it is not as clear about it as it was in my previous ones...or I am missing the information. Can you help?

Re: What days to go to which Disneyworld parks?

Hi Holly! Welcome back to the boards!

Here's what I've found based on personal experiences. They are, of course, subject to crowds and the time of year.

MK- Sat and Sun are pretty steady, as is Monday. I've had my best luck on Tues and Fri

Epcot - I've never felt over crowded here. I've even been on a Sunday and had no issues.

MGM - Sunday and Thursday were great here.

AK - I found Monday to be real busy here. I'm trying to remember if that was my Sept or April trip and I can't off hand. But, I've been on a Sat, arriving early for an ADR at breakfast and lasted til park close with no issues.

If you're looking for suggestions in the Passporter, I think they are within the first few paragraphs for each park. If you've looked at the maps, you've gone too far.

Hope this helps, and have a fun trip!
Jennifer

Re: What days to go to which Disneyworld parks?

Thank you Jennifer!
My passporter listed Monday, followed by Tuesday and Wednesday as the best days to go. I called for Cinderella's Royal Table reservations and got one for Monday. Now I read your post and don't know what to do, since you said Monday is a busy day. They already charged my credit card and we have a party of 11 people so maybe I can't change days. What do you think?
I also wondered if you have any opinions of what park to visit on a busy day like the 4th of July? Are we better off staying out of the parks?
Thanks again!

Well Jennifer, I called and cancelled my table for Monday and got in on Friday July 7th. I hope I did what you would have done!

Besides my question about what to do on the 4th of July, what do you think of the Disney Dining Plan? We have a family of 6. Good Deal?

Re: What days to go to which Disneyworld parks?

Sorry I didn't see your replies sooner!

I'm glad you were able to get CRT for both days!!!

I've never been on the 4th of July, but a friend of mine said the MK was crazy that day this past summer. If you want to brave a park, maybe head to Epcot. It's large enough to hold a lot of people.

I've never done the dining plan, but I think it's a great idea! I'm sure other Guides or TA's will chime in with a good report!
