*WDW being sued for Wrongful Death* I don't know if this has been posted before so here goes... I just saw on Court TV News that WDW is being sued for wrongful death by the mother of the 4 year old who died on Mission Space last year. IMHO ..I feel bad for the family of the little boy and will keep them in my prayers. However I wouldn't take a 4 year old on Mission Space ! Also you take risks when you ride anything and if they didn't know he had a problem how could WDW? for the family! KJ

Re: *WDW being sued for Wrongful Death* No surprise here. Of COURSE there will always be someone ready to sue Disney because they have "deep pockets" and will most likely settle out of court. The fact that a parent should take responsility for what they do and don't permit their youngster to ride is a moot point; WDW has "caution notices" posted EVERYWHERE and I have always found the CM's to be very honest when I ask them their opinion of a certain attraction if I am concerned with my health. All of the $$ in the world won't bring that little boy back, but I will bet that the family gets some monetary settlement from Disney............

Re: *WDW being sued for Wrongful Death* That is very sad. And I agree that a large lawsuit will come from this. When I went to Disneyland last time somebody in the line for Indiana Jones(The ride) was haveing what appeared to be a heart attack. Cast members were doing what they could until the ambulance got there. Disney(land and world) are very large areas with a very large pouplation(most of the time) illness happens. So does death. Its sad.

Re: *WDW being sued for Wrongful Death* Wow. Was that December 2005? We were on our "Grand Tour" (DL, WDW, DC)and came across a similar incident at the IJ ride. I thought the CMs handled things quite well, considering!
