Unhappy Late Passporter News Email

I love getting my Passporter News email. It keeps me up to speed with what's going on in the World, while I am home. But, when I try to play the Treasure Hunting Game, I always notice that someone else has made a guess hours (this week, 16 hours) before my "news" was sent. My email says that the "news" was emailed at 11:29 p.m. and someone posted a comment by the picture at 5:05 a.m.. Any idea why I'm receiving my "news" so late?

Hi Pamellia!

The first comment was posted at 5:05 am today, Friday January 4. The newsletter went out at 11:29 pm on Thursday, January 3. So I think everyone got their newsletters at about the same time (I got mine at 11:39 pm) but some people are in different time zones or are just early risers! According to the e-mails, your answer was received first so you won the actual contest, but Tacey gets credit for finding and identifying the photo. In fact, I sent you the e-mail congratulating you right before I found this post so check your inbox!
