No Gatherings and Meets Chat this weekend About This Page:

This a heads up for those interested in the Gatherings and Meets Chat. It's trial period is over and I've discovered that twice-monthly chats are overkill when there are no meets to chat about - so it will be coming off of the schedule as soon as the administrator gets caught up. It's that time of year here at PassPorter.



Fear not, however, chats will still be scheduled periodically, as needed, when a meet is in the works. They can be scheduled by the host or hostess of the meet or by anyone attending it. With advance notice, I'd be happy to help organize these chats and co-host them if someone is nervous about hosting a chat online for the first time.



I'd love to hear any feedback, comments, or questions from all of you about the change. Please feel free to post here or contact me privately via PM with your comments or concerns.

Sorry to hear this. How about taking over one of the other chats or turning it into a WDW planning chat for all general planning questions, including setting up meets?

I originally chose the day and time slot for the chat. 4:00 on Sundays was really the best time for me to host because DH is home and able to entertain the baby, but, unfortunately, it isn't working out well for the message board community and the communtiy needs to come first in this instance. It's a difficult time slot for busy working folks who need the weekends to get caught up around the house.

Maybe when DS is a bit older and self-entertained, I can commit to one of the other planned chats or host a meets chat on a weeknight in a better time slot. Time will tell!

Thanks for the suggestions Brant. I appreciate you taking the time to reply and will certainly consider hosting another chat when it's needed and I can finagle an hour to myself that's convenient for everyone else. 4:00 just seems to be a bad time on a weekend! Who knew!?
