Re: Any one else experiencing issues with Yahoo? Yes, I'm having a terrible time! I can't seem to get on Yahoo directly at all any more. Comcast (my cable company) says that they're having "server trouble"....Well, excuse me, but I thought that Comcast is the server???? At any rate, try this: In your browser, type in mail.yahoo.com/ym/login This may take you to the login screen, or to a sort of "you can't get there from here, thanks, Yahoo" screen, which may remain on your screen, or go to another search engine. If the latter happens, hit the back button on your browser. Then you'll be back at the page that came up the first time....in either case, when you're on this page, click on the Yahoo services (or words to that effect) link. You should be able to access your email from here. I hope this made sense of some sort.... ![]()

Re: Any one else experiencing issues with Yahoo? Some time back I had alot of problems with Yahoo on a machine that was severly infected with spyware (it was also a windows 98 machine.) You may want to run one of the major spyware checkers, that helped me.

Re: Any one else experiencing issues with Yahoo? [ QUOTE ] Comcast (my cable company) says that they're having "server trouble"....Well, excuse me, but I thought that Comcast is the server???? [/ QUOTE ] You connect to the Internet through Comcast servers. However, different servers host different websites. Every time you visit a website it is being hosted by its own server. The Comcast servers attempt to "connect" you - to bring up a particular Web page. If a web site's server is having problems, you will not be able to view their site even if your own "host" is working perfectly. Comcast does not host any of the Yahoo sites, so there was nothing they could do about the problem.
