It's that time of year again and for the Indiana (Midwest) Passporter Meet. We've decided on August 19, 2006 for the date. It's gonna be a two part meet where you can come to one or both parts. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Part 1:

<font color="blue">Indianapolis Zoo</font>

Operating Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm

Admission prices:

Adults: $12.50 for Zoo Only----$13.50 for Zoo and Garden combo
Children ages 2-12: $7.50 for Zoo Only----$8.50 for Combo
Children under 2: FREE

Parking is $5.00

Part 2:

<font color="red">Indianapolis Indians</font> (farm team of the Pittsburgh Pirates) game at Victory Field (Right up the street from the zoo)

It's AAA baseball at it's best. The game starts at 7:00pm against the Richmond Braves.

Prices for tickets:

Box Seats:
$12.00 for adult
$11.00 for children 14 and under

We also have the chance to do lawn seating $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 14 and under. You bring a blanket and sit out under the stars. It's appearance night for the Famous Chicken and Autograph night.

Unfortunately Sam has to work that day. Unfortunately he has a job that only let's him out for good behavior! LOL Honestly, he only gets 1 weekend every 3 wks. I'm sure you all will have a GREAT time though.

Sounds interesting, but I'm sure we won't be able to make it. This is Ben's first year at Red Gold and we think Pack will be going on then, but we're not 100% sure.

Suggestion for next year: Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN. and a little earlier in the summer??

Ok i'm a maybe as if my plans to omaha don't work out and my plans to AZ flop then i might be able to come out to the meet. Is there easy transportation such as busses or cabs to these places as I can't rent cars until i'm 25 ...trying to feel out the info before i commit

Oh my gosh, I went there twice as a kid in the mid 1960's! I might have to make plans if you all have one in 2007!

I'd love to come and will try and keep it on my radar, but that's the week-end before schools starts at UIUC and a few days after my youngest grandson has his tonsils out and we may need to be there to help keep him occupied!
