| DL girls trip dining OK, girls. 60 days out starts today. PLEASE if you are going on this trip and want to dine at these places, let me know here or via PM which meals you want to join in on. Here's the list thus far: Tues. Feb. 27th - dinner at Tortilla Jo's at 8 Wed. Feb. 28th - Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour (this is at 9AM and can only be reserved 30 days out) There is a max of 15 people per tour! I would suggest we all call individually as some people has AAA or other discounts to apply. You can call on 1/29/07 for 30 days out Wed. March 1st - Breakfast at Paradise Pier at 8:30AM - Me and Janine and Liz thus far. Let me know if you'd like to go. Thurs. March 1st - Dinner at Napa Rose. Everyone expressed interest before. | Re: DL girls trip dining I am in for the following: Tortilla Jo's Blue Bayou Besides a couple of other meals with Terri and Crystal, I think a good deal of my budget is going to be calling for counter service and/or very casual dining options. I would be more than happy, though, to meet up for other-than-PS meals though! (Rancho del Zocalo and Pacific Wharf Cafe are on my "maybe need to check this place out" list. ) Plus, ya know, we can hang out when we AREN'T eating too. Speaking of those other meals, we haven't made any ressies yet, but our plan is to have lunch with the Princesses at Ariel's at DCA on March 1st . . . and breakfast at Carnation Cafe at DL on March 4th. I have been out of commission for so long with the move and all, I feel kind of lost . . . we 86'd the VIP tour in favor of Walk in Walt's Footsteps, correct? I am going to have to bow out on that one. I am about 98% positive that my little cling-on is NOT going to want to get edumacated on DL for almost 4 hours when there are so many rides calling her name. We're going to do the Discover the Magic tour instead on our last park morning (Mar. 4th). |

Let me know if you want me to make any of the reservations, as well. Since I'm same time zone and got lots of free cell minutes, I'm happy to help! | Updated dining info - DL girls trip OK, I made most of the ressies. Tortilla Jo's and Napa Rose I have to call direct and they aren't open yet, but I'll call tonight. Everything else is as follows: Granville's at 8PM on Wed. Paradise Pier at 8:30AM on Thurs. Blue Bayou (only thing open was 3PM for lunch for a party this size. Is that OK with everyone?) on Fri. They automatically add a 15% gratuity to this party size. Storyteller's Cafe at 8:30AM on Sat. AGain, they add the 15% gratuity and there is a 90 minute time limit once your seated for being in the restaurant Hook's Point at 8:30PM on Sat. Yay!! Here's to good eating! |

| Re: Updated dining info - DL girls trip Tina! Everything looks great. They instituted that 90 minute limit last year, but I have NEVER had them actually try to get me out of the restaurant. We've been at Goofy's Kitchen for what felt like hours during that time as well. But, mostly that was waiting for certain characters or the bill, etc. Since our 8:30 PS time would put us close to breakfast closing time at the end of our 90 minutes, I think we'll be just fine. (Even if we do get a little gabby! ) |
