Tucci Benucch sounds good to me! Although I do love the corn muffins at Dave's! I'll be fine with either place - or even one of the one's you've visited before. They all sound good!

Here are menus for some of the other restaurants at MOA in case you are interested.

Rainforest Cafe - http://www.rainforestcafe.com/pdfs/RFCToGoMenu.pdf

Famous Dave's - Menu

We obviously don't need to decide now. But I thought it would be fun to at least start thinking about it.

For those of you still looking to make hotel reservations, I found this link off the Mall of America official website. It lists special rates for whatever dates you put in. It might be worth a try. If you need to know where the hotels are as far as proximity to the Mall of America, let me know. I am familiar with the location for most of them. MallofAmerica -- global discount hotel reservations

I talked to the manager at Archiver's today -- she's so excited about our group! (She doesn't remember us, but she's excited to hear we're coming. LOL)
Sandy, it's funny that you should say this. Dee and I took a card class there about a month ago and the instructor looked at us and said, "Weren't you here for a ScrapMania with a bunch of Disney people?"

Oh, that is just too funny!

Of course, I am excluding my CRAZY gray walls we have in the Mickey bathroom.
Maggie
O.K., I guess you didn't say them but I KNEW you thought them. Seriously, Maggie emailed me when she was redecorating her bathroom and before she knew I had a purple wall and asked if I thought a gray wall in her mickey bathroom would be too much, being the white looked too drab with the white mickey towels. That's when I sent an email back to her and told her I didn't think so, but she might not want to take my advice being I had a purple wall! Plus, I've seen pics of Maggie's house and it's beautiful which is why I think my crazy color scheme would scare her and other's!

I have a red wall, a purple dining room, a peach and coral bedroom, and pink flamingos in my yard. I would love to see your purple wall, etc....

You could tenatively count me in (if I may join everyone) @ MOA. If so, I would be interested in sharing a room w/ someone (I promise, I don't bite ) even though I only live 1 hour away --- not a big fan of late driving for the distance (Whimp that I am...) Anyways, do you meet for lunch and then go to Archivers or how does it work? Thanks!!

Bridget,
Glad you checked out the thread and might be able to join us! It's going to be a fun year with lots of new faces so it's the perfect year to attend your first MOA event! On Friday night we will be meeting at Sandy (whosez) and Bob (Bobmouse)'s house. It will just be a time for us all to visit. I'm sure as the date nears, they will take care of getting directions to everyone. Then on Sat., those of us that scrap meet at Archiever's when they open. We scrap (no fee) til lunch, then meet all the rest who've been shopping and we all eat lunch somewhere. Then the die hard scrappers go back to Archiever's and scrap til 4:00 at which time Archiever's makes us leave, but we can leave our stuff. Then we come back from 5-11p.m. for scrap mania. There is a 15.00 fee for this, but supper, make and takes and door prizes and snacks and water are included. As the date nears, we figure out who is all going and we have to prepay our spots. We're too far out for that though. Hope you can join us!

I'm glad that you found the thread and are going to be able to join us! We always have a great time-even if we don't get a lot of scrapping done!

Hi all, I live in Minneapolis and just found out about this event. Me too, can I join? It sounds like lots of fun. I had no idea that this was happening right under my nose.

Lord have mercy, I'm *trying* to get to this one!!!

I have a show at WDW from 9/5-9, then we are booked until the 13th for some play time. I'm trying to figure out if I can extend that until the 19th or so, have hubby fly to Nashville and us pick him up on the way from WDW to MN. *Then*, I've got a quote request in for an inn in Ely, so we can finally visit DH's sis and BIL for a few days. We'd drive back home in time for me to head to Alabama for another show. Yikes!!!

I'm going to try, but I don't know if hubby will go for it...
