Back from MagicMeets!

Fred and his helpers really out did themselves this year the Ballroom looked wonderful with Mickey and Minnie balloons. Checkin line was a little wait, but us Disney people are used to lines! So we took the time and made the most of it making new friends!

After Mike Scopa gave the opening speech (he makes me cry every year!) We then broke up into three sessions of talks in different rooms - DH and I wanted to hear Deb Wills' talk on cruises (I've been trying to convince him to go). Her talk really got him wanting to go on a cruise!! YEY! We then came back and had lunch. The food was really good. We stayed at table for second set of talks, and then headed to the breakout room for Becky's talk on being a cast member, she was really fab!

There were tons of prizes given out all day long which were beautiful. They also had the Silent Auction by the Dream Team for Make a Wish. I think they had approximately 110 prizes. I had fun bidding on a bunch of stuff! (somebody come stop me)! I won a Mickey ornament prince and the pauper, and a Animal Kingdom 98 T-shirt. The auction made $9000 this year, A new record!!! Fred got all teary when he announced just how much we had raised this year......last year it was around $3,000.
I won the table center piece a Donald Duck statue.
We had a great time!

Amy I saw you while leaving Becky's breakout seesion. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say HI. I had to get back to finish helping with the auction.

I still can't believe we raised $9000.

Jan-It was great seeing you again! Enjoy your trip!

DH and I had a blast as well. I thought the breakout sessions were fun and informative. I ended up only going to two of the breakout sessions. We went through the scrapbooker photographs and Becky's speech on being a CM. I can't wait for next year. I too won the centerpeice which was Goofy. I also hung up my picture of Disney's 25th anniversary that I won at the auction. I can't wait for next year. I hope everyone had as much as we did.

We had a wonderful time at MagicMeets! Dave's session on Disney Dining went very well -- I wasn't there (I stayed back at the PassPorter "lemonade stand") but I had several people come up afterward raving about it. And we loved meeting all of YOU!

Here are some photos I took of the PassPorter table and Alexander:

Dave autographing at our table -- we did a lot of autographing!

Another view of our table

Our "lemonade stand" sign

Our table was next to the AllEarsNet table -- here's Dave chatting with Debbie Koma and Linda Eckworth

Linda Eckworth at the AllEarsNet table

Alexander loved playing with the Treasure Hunts books

Allie and Alexander at Hersheypark

Can't wait to go again next year!!

It sounded like a wonderful day. I watched it via the webcam on WDW Today. Mike Scopa's speech was excellent as usual. We PP's definitely "get it". Very cool that you got to attend, Jan. Would love to attend some year but if it's between that and MF ~ MF will win.
