| Doing Disney Alone... Hi All,just wondering how many other Disney Crazies there are out here in Florida!! I work a rather odd schedule,I have days off when most of my friends work and so I find myself going to the parks alone,my friends think I am lil off my rocker lol.i told them lots of people do it(so back me up here peeps...)I love walking down Main Street, meeting some great people and cast members along the way, gettin lunch at Cosmic Rays, seeing Beauty and the Beast, jumpin on Tower of Terror, what ever calls me on that day and then I go home before anyone is out of work...no better way to spend a relaxing afternoon.I dont go as often as I would like gas is so expensive but if not to Disney I would drive some where to have fun might as well be the best place on earth!!! So who else out there hits the parks alone and what do you like to do???and if your ever in Disney and see a dark haired girl in her glories all alone stop and say "HI!!"

| Well, I haven't done it yet. But I plan to next fall for the Food and Wine festival, or to see some early Xmas decorations. I know there's quite a few on these fine boards that have taken solo trips, and that's actually been my inspiration to do it myself!! I love the thought of doing whatever I feel like doing and not having to worry about keeping other people happy. Although, there will be guilt to deal with because I'll be leaving my 3 little ones at home!!! Somehow, being in that hotel room all by MYSELF, I think I'll manage!!!!

| That would be so great to go alone, or with one other person that wants to keep up with me! There are many folks here that go it alone!

| Where in Florida are you? Skateycat is in Venice and I am just down the road in Port Charlotte. Skatey does a lot of solo trips, but I don't because I have a 6 year old and also because I can't drive due to my disabilities. You should PM skatey and you could talk to me too. I like day trips. |

| I did a solo trip because I had an AP that was burning a hole in my pocket!! And it was so much FUN. I got to do exactly what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it! I was really nervous before I went about 'what will people think' kind of thing. But Princess Sharon and I PM'd a few times prior and she has also done solo trips, so once I decided to go-there was NO looking back. When the opportunity presents itself again, I will go back. This sounds really weird, but I had accomplished EVERYTHING and then some on my To Do list, and still had 3 days left, that is when I kind of thought gee-what am I going to do for three whole days, well, I quickly filled the time very well. You can go much faster by yourself, fewer lines, single rider lines, there are a million reasons to go alone. I LOVE taking the kids, but the adult experience can't be beat IMHO!!! S go for it!
