|  MOA 8 - The Biggest and Best Mall of America Meet Ever! Hey everyone!  It is that time of year when we need to get busy and start planning the next Mall of America meet here in Minnesota. Can you believe that this year will be MOA 8???  For anyone not familiar with the Mall of America meets, here is the scoop.  It is a meet for PassPorters who live in the upper Midwest (and points beyond) to get together for a weekend of food, fun, friendship, and scrapbooking! Friday night of the meet weekend is usually a get-together for dinner and sharing of scrapbooks. Saturday involves scrapping all day at Archivers in Mall of America. We break for lunch at one of the mall's restaurants and then we continue scrapping through the evening hours via Archiver's Scrapmania sessions. Some people do choose to shop at the many stores located in Mall of America as well. Sunday is when everyone heads home, although I think some people have done brunch on Sunday as well as a little more shopping at MOA, which is always an option.  Here are a couple of weekends that I would like to throw out to get the ball rolling. Since I work every other weekend, these are weekends that I am off from work. The first option would be the weekend of September 25-27, 2009. Option 2 would be the weekend of October 9-11, 2009. If you could check your calendars and then let me know which weekend works best for you, then we can start getting the plans rolling. Generally we go with the weekend that works best for the majority of people planning on coming. If you have never joined us before and you live in the area (or if you have always wanted to fly to Minnesota and visit MOA), you are more than welcome to take part in this very fun weekend!  Post your questions here or PM me for more information. For those of you who have joined us in years past, I look forward to seeing everyone again this fall!

| For some reason I have MOA meet penciled in on Sept 26 already (Insert Twilight Zone music here ). The weekend of 10/10 is not as good, but would work too. That Monday is Columbus day if it makes a difference to anyone.

|  I am sooooo sad that I am missing this, but we have the wedding (or "wadding" as Joan calls it) the first week of October. So it's not gonna happen this year.
