I was so sad we didn't see you! Kathy, Karin, and I found each other and we had a lovely time. I guess it's hard to find people when it's dark and crowded. Hopefully I'll get the chance to meet you all sometime in the future!
We were right across from the Margarita stand, next to the stand selling rings (?....I think??) The CM there even let us scooch behind the stand right before IllumiNations started, so we had more space by the railing for an unobstructed view.
Kathy and I also had our DH's and DS's with us. I know we were keeping our eyes peeled for you guys. At the time, part of me had wondered if Cheryl's fatigue had resurfaced, and I thought maybe she and Mark had decided on an early night. When we got back to CT, I was glad to read in her live TR that she was fine, but disappointed, of course, that we missed seeing you all! I guess next time we should exchange cell phone numbers!
I am really glad you followed up on this, Suzi. It's good to at least have a little better idea of why it didn't go quite as planned!
Where did you guys watch from? We looked around for the longest time, looking for other PPers. Drat.
It's a shame we didn't find the rest of you, but I'm just glad that lots of people made it and were able to meet fellow PassPorters. Lesson learnt, be much more specific about meeting places in the dark in the future.
