An Ohio Meet?

Is anyone interested in trying to get together for an Ohio meet? We seem to have a lot of Buckeyes on the board...

That's sounds great Cheryl, but unfortunately I'm having car problems and don't know when my DH is going to get around to fixing it. He's so busy with other things right now, and since I'm not working, it's just not a priority right now.

Re: An Ohio Meet?

I'd love to get together sometime and I'd love to be able to include the kids. Maybe we could find something to do in December? DD had already suggested that maybe we could do a Build A Bear Meet...hmmmmm

Any ideas where a central location might be...we're near Medina.

Can I jump in? I'd like to meet, too. There is a Build-a-Bear at Southpark Mall in Strongsville...

How funny, DS#2 has been trying to talk me into taking him there again soon, he loves Southpark Mall! His 2 bears need a "Daddy". He has an orange/red tyed died bear named Brother and a black bear named Boss. I have a $10 off coupon that I need to use by 12/31, I want to get a raincoat for the Pal Mickey we are going to get on our next trip.

I forgot about BaB fitting Pal Mickey! I'm going to have to go shopping! BTW, we have more BaBs than I can count. DDs were in last year's holiday shopping section of the Sun newspapers making their reindeer...it was so cute!

Re: An Ohio Meet?

Build a Bear also has Disney Princess outfits for the bears. I got my daughters Beauty and The Beast outfits and Snow White for Easter. They are so cute. I especially like the Beast Outfit.

DD6 will be getting a gift certificate for her first Build-a-Bear on her b-day, Nov. 11th. Do you think this will be good timing for the meet?

Re: An Ohio Meet?

I have family in Akron. Hudson to be precise.
Next time there is another meet I'll be watching the boards because we are an hour outside of Toledo and 2 hours from Sandusky Cedar Point. We are planning on Kings Island next summer on our way down to the Smokey Mtns. Have fun with your meeting.

Re: An Ohio Meet?

I'll be in WDW from 11-20, but the following week (before Thanksgiving) would be good. They are scheduling parties on Tue or Wed that week (Mon is booked), so we could do it the 23d or 24th? DD says they are in party "hibernation" Thanksgiving weekend and then from about 12 Dec on thru the end of the year. I think it sounds like fun! Let me know what you guys think and I can set something up if you'd like!

Re: An Ohio Meet?

I'm pretty flexible with my schedule. I have kid over on Mons and Wens so those days are usually not good (but we are off the 24th from school so I have no extra kids).

Our schools are open on the 23rd but closed on the 24th. Later on the 23rd and all day on the 24th is open for us.

I wish I could meet all you guys, but November and December are our busy times at work. You all sound like you live west of me. I live North East of Cleveland.
